Custom Web Design Terms and Conditions:

 

Quotation

1. The quotation is an estimate figure that may change with the development of the website.
2. Beth-El House of Design will not exceed the estimate figure without notifying the client.

 
Content

1. All content must be provided electronically via e-mail or on a CD / DVD (NO MEMORY STICKS), by the client. No content will be typed by Beth-El House of Design.
2. All photographs must be provided by the client and the quality provided will be used as is.
3. The client must provide their logo electronically via e-mail or on a CD / DVD (NO MEMORY STICKS).
4. The client must provide a short description of their business and search words (electronically) that would be used for search engine results.

 

Design

1. Beth-El House of Design will offer a graphical design customized according to your professional image and colors.
2. Beth-El House of Design does not make use of templates. Each website is uniquely designed for each client.
3. All the pages are effective web pages, with a maximum of 500 words per page.
4. All web pages will carry the web design chosen by you. If any of the pages require a different design, the normal designing rates will be charged for each new design required.
5. A gallery has a maximum of 20 photos; more photos can be added at an additional charge.
6. All websites exclude specialized pages like a programmed news page, forms, a log-in function or flash banner. (These are available as per separate quote.)

 

Payment

1. Non refundable deposit of 50% of the quote is payable with order. No work will commence before payment is cleared in Beth-El House of Design's Bank account.
2. On completion of the website, Beth-El House of Design will upload the website onto the internet and the client will have 7 days to pay the outstanding fees.
3. If the client fails to pay the outstanding fees within the 7 days, Beth-El House of Design will freeze the client’s domain, deactivate e-mail accounts and place a banner on the domain and an auto responder on all e-mail accounts stating that the client has failed to pay the outstanding fees. This banner will include the client’s company logo and any other detail Beth-El House of Design may find necessary to display.
4. This banner will be removed and the e-mail accounts reactivated as soon as the outstanding fees have been cleared in Beth-El House of Design’s bank account.
5. The client will have 14 days to view the website on the internet and any corrections required by the client will be done promptly. Any changes made after this 14 day period will be charged at the normal rate of updates.
6. Only cash payments or electronic transfers are accepted.

• Features like Web Hosting Control Panel, Web Mail and Website statistics are available for more advanced users at no extra cost.
• One of two payment options: Monthly via debit order or Yearly via ETF or cash.

 

What is required of me?

• Fees to be paid yearly via internet transfer or cash or,
• Fees to be paid monthly via debit order.
• You need to notify us by the 25th of the month if your next payment will be late.

 

When are the fees due?

• Your yearly fee must be paid via EFT into Beth-El House of Design’s bank account by the 1st of the month in which it is due.
• Monthly fees will be deducted from your account on the 3rd of each month. If the 3rd of the month is a Sunday or Public holiday, the fees will be deducted on the first work day thereafter.

 

What will happen if I fail to pay my hosting fees on time?

• If your debit order is returned by the bank as unpaid, a penalty fee of R50.00 will be charged. This penalty fee, with the monthly fee, must be paid cash into Beth-El House of Design’s bank account within 7 days of notification.
• Failure to pay your fees will result in your domain being frozen with a banner stating that you failed to pay your hosting fees.
• This banner will include your Company’s logo and any other detail Beth-El House of Design may find necessary to display.
• Your e-mail accounts will be frozen and an auto response will be added replying to all who e-mail you that you failed to pay your hosting fees.
• The banner and auto response will be removed as soon as full payment of all outstanding fees has been cleared in Beth-El House of Design’s bank account.
